Dr Luca Sabini invited to Symposium on Responsible Project Management Practices with the Global South at ESG UQÀM, Canada
Dr Luca Sabini, Associate Professor in Project Management, visited ESG UQAM (School of Management, Université du Québec à Montréal) in Canada on the 29th and 30th of May 2024. He was invited by Marie-Pierre Leroux from the Chair of Project Management at the School of Management, UQAM.
During his visit, Luca presented his research on the challenges of localizing global sustainability goals to development projects at the Symposium on Responsible Project Management Practices with the Global South. He engaged with fellow academics and practitioners, sparking insightful discussions on how to effectively implement sustainable practices in diverse local contexts.
Throughout his week in Montreal, Luca also showcased the Leeds Centre for Projects to members of the Chaire de gestion de projet, highlighting its initiatives and achievements. He explored potential collaborations on the Sustainability Project Performance Index, aiming to enhance project performance through sustainable measures.
Luca's visit fostered valuable connections and set the stage for future joint research endeavours between the Leeds Centre for Projects and ESG UQAM.
