Dr Dicle Kortantamer wins Best Reviewer Award 2024

Our colleague Dicle Kortantamer has just received the Best Reviewer Award 2024 for the journal Project Leadership and Society. The award honours the excellent constructive and timely reviews provided for the journal in 2023.

Dicle comments on this award: ”I had the privilege of reviewing very insightful articles with cutting-edge ideas. It has been a pleasure to learn from these articles and also give back to our community. This award is recognition of our ethos in the Leeds Centre for Projects to provides constructive support to colleagues."

Reviewing is at the core of academic development and citizenship. Journals rely on reviewers to scrutinise manuscripts and provide feedback to authors to develop and improve their work. To write constructive reviews takes time and effort, which is often not recognised and happens behind the scenes. We are delighted that Dicle received this award recognising her work in this way. Congratulations, Dicle!

Dr Richard Kirkham wins Most Cited Paper Award 2024

We would also like to congratulate Dr Richard Kirkham, who is a Visiting Senior Research Fellow with the LCP, for receiving the Most Cited Paper Award 2024 for the journal Project Leadership and Society. The paper is entitled "Exploring the complexity of highways infrastructure programmes in the United Kingdom through systems thinking". The paper is open access and can be downloaded here.

Being recognised as the most cited paper in the journal demonstrates the relevance of the paper to the academic community and how much the work is recognised by peers. Congratulations, Richard!
