Visit by Prof Khalid Al Marri from the British University in Dubai

We had the pleasure of hosting a visit by Professor Khalid Al Marri recently. Prof Al Marri is the Dean of Research and Head of Partnerships at the British University in Dubai (BUiD). Following the visit of an LCP delegation to BUiD earlier this year, we took the opportunity to continue our discussions on the collaboration and to formally mark the signing of our Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

The Executive Dean of our Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences, Prof Nora de Leeuw, hosted a lunch with key internal stakeholders celebrating the MoU.

Professor Christine Unterhitzenberger and Dr Luca Sabini worked with Prof Al Marri on the development of a joint educational provision in project management bringing together the unique strengths of both partners. Opportunities for collaboration in research and professional learning were also discussed and will be developed further over the next few months.
